US Dollar Slides Against European Majors [USD]

11/14/2007 10:24:54 PM The US dollar weakened against its major European counterparts in the early Asian trading on Thursday.

The US currency hit a low of 1.4681 against the euro at about 10:05 pm ET, down from the pair's yesterday's close of 1.4650. Against the franc, the dollar dipped to 1.1220 as of 9:55 pm Eastern Time, down from 1.1243 late Wednesday in New York. Against its British counterpart, the greenback fetched a low of 2.0582, compared to Wednesday's close of 2.0523.

As of now, the dollar is worth 2.0579 against the British currency, 1.4679 against the euro and 1.1224 versus the franc.
